We work with you to create your very own beautiful event stationery: we provide the design and printing of invitations and cards, as well as table favors and accessories, which coordinate and compliment each other in order to create a individual 'look' for your event. We believe nothing says 'yours' quite like your very own custom design solution - one that is completely unique. |

We do this by including personal and individual design elements relating to your event, such as custom illustrations of jewelry, inclusion of photos, and the choice of type and color schemes to suit your pre-planned outfits, dresses, flowers... anything that is special to you. |

No two invitations we design are ever the same. We do not work with templates or pre-printed papers, instead, we endeavor to create your unique event design from start to finish! |

Once you have made the important decision as to when and how to host your special event, we begin the exciting journey of creating your unique event stationery: |

The beginning: We start by discussing your individual needs. Depending on what kind of event you're hosting, your stationery requirements will differ from event to event. |
| |
If you have something in mind - ie. a promo postcard to distribute to friends for your 21st, or a invitation folder containing information about your upcoming wedding, or a stylish tent-fold mail-out to announce the launch of your new business - we can work to the dimensions (or envelope size) you've chosen. |

Design Agreement: Once you're happy to begin the design process, we send you a design agreement, which outlines what we will be providing for you (eg. a fabulous event design creation completely customised to suit you!) and covers most frequently asked questions. We love this document because it covers nearly everything that can come up during the design process. It will be invaluable to you too, as you'll understand how much effort we put into creating something wonderful for you. |

Deposit: A deposit is paid by you to secure our design services. This is a percentage of the budgeted design costs associated with your project, and it covers any initial labour for your event stationery. This is fully refundable if you wish to cancel your event design services. The design agreement has more information about your deposit. |

Inspirations: The fun begins! We collect your chosen colour schemes, fabric swatches, photos, jewellery, lyrics or text, flowers... anything that has inspired you in putting together your event. We then tie in all these wonderful features into your design. |

Design: Once we've put together what we like to call a 'mock-up' of your invitation on screen, we email you a copy to have a look over. We also offer a mock-up printing service which means you get to view your stationery exactly the way it's printed whilst reviewing for any changes to be make or extra features to be added in. We like to make triple sure you're happy with your colours, graphics and text before we go any further. |

Guest List Customisation: You're 125% happy with your mock-up, horray! The next step is getting your guest list off you and customising each invitation or card to include your guest's name. The printing process begins with every invitation being printed with the highest quality colour print on beautiful card. |

Envelopes: We also source the most complimentary envelopes we can find to personally match your invitation or card. These envelopes are of the highest quality, made with lush creamy papers and secure seals. We then customise your envelopes with your guest's address and your return address at no extra charge! |

Assembly: We carefully trim, fold and assemble your event stationery so that it's perfect. Each individual card or invitation is placed securely in it's corresponding envelope. We check each item to make sure it's up to our high standards and reprint if something's not quite right. The result is a beautiful piece of event stationery, ready for post! |

Delivery: We then deliver your finished event stationery to you - by hand if you are local, or by express post if you are in Australia. If you are an international customer, we happily advise you of postage costs for the fastest shipping possible. We understand your time is important, so we aim to provide the best solution for you. Shipping costs are advised before the items are posted to you, and are not included in your design costs. More information about the shipping of your items can be found in the design agreement. |

Below is a list of different options available when planning your event stationery through It's A Date Event Design. These are the most popular configurations for printing, but they are in no means a definitive list! If you have an idea for something a little bit different, run it by us and we can source you a quote for design, and printing/assembly. We love new ideas! |

We start with an envelope size as a guide for how big your invitations or event stationery will be, so our products are grouped accordingly: RSVP & Save The Date cards (which fit an 11B envelope), Postcards, Invitations and Thank you cards (which fit a C6 envelope), Invitation cards (to fit a DL envelope) and Square cards (to fit square envelopes). We also design place cards and gift cards customized with your guest's names. The pricing listed next to each option is a unit price for this item to be printed and assembled, complete with envelope, and does not include the design cost (this is a separate cost which is paid before printing) - called the 'design component'. |

As the nature of custom design is that every design job is different, we quote your design component on an individual basis.
