Welcome to It's A Date Event Design

It's A Date Event Design is a boutique graphic design studio based in Bendigo, Victoria, Australia. We specialize in the production of custom and unique event invitations and stationery suites, with creative flair and quality materials. We also provide event styling and decoration services.

We design and create for a wide variety of private and corporate events. We specialise in artistic, unique engagement and wedding styling, but also create beautiful works for 18ths and 21st birthdays, celebrations of all kinds as well as general graphic design services.

We oversee the sourcing of high quality printing, trimming and assembly of your project in order to deliver a stunning finished product to you. We aim to make things easier on you during your event planning process by offering quality, beautiful hand-crafted items and attentive, individual service that will be remembered long after you enjoy your special day. We also create ready-to-purchase products which we sell via our Etsy store.

We offer an exclusive service to you for the week leading up to your wedding and only take on one booking a weekend - so you can be assured of fantastic, dedicated support in the lead up to your day.

All About It's A Date Event Design

It's A Date Event Design is located in Bendigo, Victoria, Australia. We are available for consultations 11am-6pm AEST from Monday-Friday (and some weekends by request).

We work with you to create your very own unique event stationery: we provide the design and printing of invitations and cards, as well as table favors and accessories, which coordinate and compliment each other in order to create a individual and stylish 'look' for your event, whether that be a trendy birthday party, a sophisticated dinner or a creative wedding: every event can benefit from our signature styling.

We work with you throughout your entire stationery planning process: designing and creating invitations, placecards, signage, favours, centerpiece design, and we can also advise you on how to continue your overall theme throughout other accessories, in order to create a beautiful lasting impression for your special event. Our designs are usually created in what we can 'suites', which are a set that consists of Save The Date Cards, Invitations and Placecards or Giftcards, related acessories such as Menus, Programs and Signage, and completed with coordinated Thankyou cards.

No two invitations we design are ever the same. We do not work with templates or pre-printed papers and we don't have a catalogue of generic designs: instead, we endeavor to create your unique event design from start to finish! We make sure your invitation reflects your vision for your day and your own interests and personality, in the most beautiful, creative and unique manner possible. We do this by including personal design elements relating to your event, such as custom illustrations of jewelry, inclusion of photos, and the choice of type and color schemes to suit your pre-planned outfits, dresses, flowers... anything that is special to you. We aim to make your stationery a work of art that will be kept as a memento long after your event has taken place.

Unlike wedding planners, who are utilised to coordinate your day, the vendors you choose to work with, venues you book, the timeline for your event, etc., we concentrate on the artistic and creative way that the tone of your day is set, through paper products, materials, decorations and meaningful items for your guests. We can also assist on any other projects where you may like our creative input: we are not limited to stationery and we bring with us a wealth of knowledge about applying creativity to all kinds of events and getting the most out of any budget.

Reserving our design services for your special day also means that we reserve the week leading up to your event for you, to focus our attentions on any last-minute design projects you may have in mind. We are also available to set up your venue for you - please get in touch with us to learn more about this service.
