Stella's First Birthday Invitation

The Brief: When the most stylish little person we know, Stella, was planning her first birthday celebration, we knew this invitation needed to be modern, trendy and reflect Stella's growing interest in entertaining and the humble teddy bear. Armed with our knowledge of the popular children's rhyme, we set to work creating a cute invitation for Stella's first birthday, which was to be a relaxed picnic in Bendigo on a Sunday afternoon.

We worked with a pretty pink, black and white, offset with cream tones - we illustrated a picnic basket as a background and from there, designed the invitation with lots of little creatures and funky type. A photo of Stella recently captured by James Sann Photography really set the whole look off.

This card was designed and created as a A6 postcard, with a magnet attached to the back so the invite could go straight on the fridge! It also fitted neatly inside a complimentary craft C6 envelope, which was ready for filling out and posting to all Stella's friends and family.

We were delighted to be involved in both the design and overall celebration of this beautiful little girl's first birthday - Happy Birthday Stella!

Maggie's Arrival Card

The Brief: Ellen and Doug wanted a very special card to send out to friends and family to celebrate the arrival of their beautiful little girl Maggie. We used fresh reds, whites and creamy yellows to give this lovely lady a beautiful stationery entrance.

This card fitted neatly in bright red C6 envelopes which complimented the craft paper liner of each tent-fold card. Congratulations, Ellen and Doug, and welcome, Maggie!

Renate's Baby Shower

The Brief: Renate was thrown a very casual, chic baby shower at a trendy inner-city restaurant bar. To suit Renate's artistic, playful personality, this postcard invite was designed to give guests an idea of the laid-back, fun afternoon ahead of them.

This invitation fitted neatly in metallic olive green C6 envelopes which set off the design beautifully. Hope you had a great time Renate!
