Megan's Hens Day Invitations
The Brief: One of Megan's fantastic bridesmaids Brooke organized a top secret design project to create Megan's Hen's Day invitations without Megan knowing - as we were also working on Megan's wedding invitations at the same time, this proved to be a great opportunity to match the design style of both the events, but still keep Megan's special day out a little bit more personal. The day centered around a winery tour, so glossy wine bottles engraved with Megan's name were used as a backdrop, as well as lots of ribbon and decorative elements borrowed from Megan's wedding stationery.
Each invitation was made as a side fold card - with custom hand-die-cut bottle tops. This created a different dimension to the standard card, and also utilized the strong clean lines of the bottles - resulting in an unique take on a Hen's day invitation.

The card opened to feature a lovely picture of the glowing Megan, as well as instructions and further details about the day. Each card was placed in a beautiful metallic brown envelope with custom address label. We hope you had a great day Megan!
Here is some quick snaps of the finished product, ready for post to Brooke!

Holiday Cards 2007
The Brief: Two holiday cards, designed for two different clients - one is a humorous take on putting up Christmas lights, and the other was designed specifically for a client who is a skilled quilter. These were printed on beautiful thick stock and placed in color-coordinated envelopes.

Another quick snap, of both cards in their finished state:
