Henry's Annoucement Cards |
The Brief: Elly and Nick are very dear friends of mine, and I was very excited to be able to put together an announcement card for the arrival of their second son, little Henry. I must admit to using his parents as inspiration for this project; when we were younger, Elly loved red and always looked fabulous in it, so I made sure a touch of red was included, with a mint green which I adore. You can see from the pictures how rapt Lucas is to have a little brother to play with!

| Henry's cards were designed to be double-sided, and formatted just like a regular postcard, with room for a handwritten address and personal message from Henry's parents. Welcome to the world Henry, and congratulations Elly and Nick! |

Zalie's 1st Birthday |
The Brief: Zalie's invitation was such a pleasure to put together - Nicole is one very cool mum and she was really open to all my ideas for making Zalie's invite super special. We designed an invitation that had a little birthday candle attached to the front, and folded in a mini-concertina (in the shape of a "Z", which seemed fitting!). A magnet was attached to the back of each invitation so it could be popped on the fridge!

Kieran's Baby Shower |
The Brief: ... There wasn't really one, but that made the project all the more fun! I designed a baby shower invitation postcard for our friend Rachel, who was hosting the event for Kieran, with a very open theme, which she outlined as, "whatever you come up with, that will be our colours!" - in other words, the best brief ever. As the gender of the baby was unknown, I chose a cute colour scheme of teal, stormy-green and bright green, with pops of black and white.

Patrick's First Birthday Party |
The Brief: Patrick's first birthday had a Very Hungry Caterpillar theme - one of my favourite books as a kid! I illustrated my own version of the caterpillar, which was decorated with Patrick's name. A bright sun and colourful dots made up the rest of this fun design. Patrick's parents Sarah and Brad were able to handwrite each guest's name on the card on a little dotted line before sending them out.

| Each card was postcard sized and fitted neatly within a C6 envelope. Happy first birthday Patrick - I'm sure it's the first of many great ones! |

Charlie's 1st Birthday |
The Brief: Charlie's parents Ken and Rachel are very close friends of mine and it was an honour to be involved in the design of Charlie's 1st birthday invitations, as well as a few little extras, for their precious little boy! Charlie's mother has impeccable taste, and a beautiful baby blue with an edgy black and white twist hit the perfect note for a sophisticated and fun party. This was my first 1st birthday party, my first experience with party hats and lolly bags, and I loved every second of it! I also loved seeing Charlie's cute little face every time I worked on this design, what a sweetheart!

Liam's Announcement Cards |
The Brief: After creating his big sister's announcement cards, it was a pleasure to put together a similar card for Liam, the newest addition to Ellen and Doug's little family.

Chloe's 3rd Birthday |
The Brief: I'm a huge fan friend of Chloe's Mum, Sarah, and when she mentioned planning Miss Chloe's upcoming party, I offered my services! Chloe's invitation is actual a 'virtual' invitation, designed to be sent as an email attachment to Chloe's friends and family, and we chose bright pinks and cute little graphics to brighten someone's day.

Jet's 1st Birthday |
The Brief: Jet's mum Bianca got in contact with us after working with us on Bianca's 30th birthday invitation a few years ago - needless to say, we were delighted to hear from her! The brief called for Jet's favourite colours: blue and red, and some of Jet's favourite things: owls, dogs, helicopters and hints of nature - lots of trees and leaves. What's cool about this design is that whilst it's child-like, it's still very stylish and fun. Jet's stunning portrait photos, that Bianca kindly provided, really make the invitation something special.

Charlie's Arrival and Thankyou Card |
The Brief: Little Charles was born into style, and he doesn't even know it yet: even though he's been coined 'Charlie' from his birth in September, he's going to grow up to be a very trendy and sophisticated young lad, judging from his amazing parents Ken and Rachel. We were very, very happy to be asked to design an announcement and thank you card for Charlie's new friends and family to share in the good news!

Huon's Arrival and Thankyou Card |
The Brief: Full disclosure: We are a little biased when it comes to the gentleman in this card, as he is our adored nephew, Huon. Just when we thought we couldn't get more excited over his long-awaited arrival, we were asked to create a little announcement/thank you card to send to friends and family. We know Huon to be a trendy little guy, so we used the purple from his outfit, and a nice fresh mint green, to create this joyous announcement card.

Stella's 1st Birthday |
The Brief: When we heard Stella was planning her first birthday celebration, we knew this invitation needed to be modern, trendy and reflect Stella's growing interest in entertaining and the humble teddy bear. Armed with our knowledge of the popular childrens rhyme, we set to work creating a cute invitation for Stella's first birthday, which was to be a relaxed picnic in Bendigo on a Sunday afternoon.

Maggie's Arrival and Thankyou Card |
The Brief: Ellen and Doug wanted a very special card to send out to friends and family to celebrate the arrival of their beautiful little girl Maggie. We used fresh reds, whites and creamy yellows to give this lovely lady a beautiful stationery entrance.
